ABOUT ME

Thank you for considering me as your counselor.

If you feel overwhelmed or burned out from caring for others, you’re in the right place. We all need space to recalibrate and find clarity. I honor your courage to step toward growth and self-discovery. Together, we’ll calm your mind and body as you reconnect with yourself and others. Therapy is deeply personal, and I prioritize ensuring you feel seen, heard, and empowered. Healing unfolds when we explore our emotions and understand how they shape our worldview, self-perception, and relationships. Through contemplation, reflection, and meditation, we’ll uncover the deeper “why” behind your experiences, giving you a richer understanding of yourself.

My approach integrates evidence-based, trauma-informed care for individuals facing trauma, caregiving stress, transitions, grief, relational/family challenges, transgenerational trauma, and postpartum concerns. I use client-centered, strengths-based, solutions-focused methods and motivational interviewing, providing space for self-discovery and growth.

Embarking on therapy is a powerful step toward self-awareness and healing. We’ll work together to empower you to live with intention. I’m passionate about serving women, BIPOC, refugees, immigrants, and Muslims. We’ll explore experiences, build resilience, and align goals. Cultural humility is key; I’m committed to addressing racial trauma and healing.

EXPERIENCE

I have over 15yrs of experience working in different clinical settings supporting teenagers, adults, and geriatric populations navigating depression, anxiety, acculturation,  transgenerational trauma, stress, complicated family dynamics, identity crisis, chronic illness, life transitions, and caregiving.
