EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy is a psychotherapy method that involves moving our eyes to process traumatic memories. EMDR allows our brain to process these memories that have been frozen in time, giving our mind the ability to heal. Anyone can benefit from EMDR, especially those who face: PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Substance Abuse and etc.
Effective for Both Recent and Long-Term Issues
EMDR can help with a wide range of concerns, including:

-
Single-incident trauma
-
Chronic or complex trauma
-
Anxiety, panic, and other stress disorders
-
Relationship or other long-term behavioral patterns
-
Grief and loss
-
Performance enhancement or blocks
-
Significant life transitions
EMDR focuses on our past traumas, present issues, and creates plans for the future, ensuring a holistic and long-term healing journey. EMDR allows the brain to reprocess and store information in a healthier, more adaptive way.
Research-Supported Effectiveness and
Additional Resources
Studies show that intensive trauma treatments, including EMDR, can be as effective or more effective than weekly talk-therapy sessions, especially for individuals with PTSD or high levels of distress.

We Offer Both Traditional EMDR Sessions
and EMDR Intensive Sessions.
Traditional EMDR Sessions are scheduled on a weekly basis as a 50 to 60 minute therapy session. Please see our therapy pricing and fee information page for how billing works with these session.
EMDR intensives offer extended sessions, often ranging from half a day to several days in a row. This allows clients to engage more deeply in the healing process with fewer interruptions, creating a condensed, accelerated and powerful therapeutic timeframe. People report feeling better sooner. Treatment planning is individualized and includes resourcing, integrated assessments, and follow-up.
Key Benefits of EMDR Intensives
Because intensives remove the week-to-week gaps found in traditional therapy, clients can move through EMDR phases more quickly. This often leads to a rapid reduction in anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and trauma symptoms. Clients report faster relief from emotional triggers and maladaptive patterns.
